The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will declare the NEET PG 2025 Counselling Round 2 seat allotment result on December 16. The result will be published online on the official MCC website, and allotment will be based on candidates’ NEET PG rank, choices filled and locked, availability of seats, applicable reservation norms, and eligibility for MD, MS, and PG Diploma courses.

Candidates allotted seats in NEET PG counselling 2025 round 2 will be required to report in person at the allotted medical college between December 17 and December 25, 2025. MCC has made the following changes after the resignation and withdrawal of seats as follows.

MCC has added 135 PG medical seats to the NEET PG counselling 2025 round 2, in addition to the earlier 2,620 seats.  West Bengal saw the largest addition with 46 new seats included in North Bengal Medical College.

Pt. BD Sharma University of Health Sciences Rohtak will close the Haryana NEET PG counselling 2025 round 2 registration today. Candidates can apply for Haryana NEET PG counselling 2025 on the official website, hry.online-counselling.co.in, for 60 newly-added seats.

As per the schedule, the MP NEET PG round 2 counselling registration will begin on December 15 on the official website, dme.mponline.gov.in.  Candidates allotted seats in the MP NEET PG round 1 counselling will be allowed to complete the admission process and opt for resignation or upgradation, latest by December 15. The MP NEET PG counselling 2025 round 2 allotment will be announced on Dec 24.

The Directorate of Medical Education and Training (DMET), Uttar Pradesh, will declare the round 2 merit list of NEET PG 2025 counselling on December 15.

The Haryana NEET PG 2025 counselling round 2 registrations and choice filling will be closed tomorrow, December 14. The provisional seat allotment will be published on December 15.

The MCC recently added 135 new postgraduate medical seats for the NEET PG round 2 counselling. Of which, the highest of 46 seats were added in North Bengal Medical College. Madhya Pradesh received approval for 20 seats across three medical colleges - six at Government Medical College, Shivpuri; two at Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Medical College; and 12 at Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Medical College, Jabalpur.

The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has announced the Karnataka NEET PG final allotment 2025 for in-service candidates. A total of 75 candidates were shortlisted under the in-service quota, however, only 59 have been allotted seats.

The MCC has clarified that the NEET PG round 2 choice filling was briefly paused due to addition of seats after resignation, withdrawal of duplicate seats, and quota changes. As per the data shared by MCC, a total of 540 candidates have opted for resignation, and these seats will be added to the round 2 seat matrix.

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will close the NEET PG round 2 choice filling facility today at 1 pm. The selection and locking process for the first round of the Chandigarh National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test Post Graduate (NEET PG) 2025 counselling has begun at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Chandigarh.  By December 15th, eligible candidates can use the option-filling facility to select the universities and programs of their choosing.

According to the latest updates, the NEET PG 2025 state-wise seats have been added in medical colleges across the country.
