The National Medical Commission (NMC) has announced the NEET PG counselling 2025 schedule and seat matrix for both All India Quota (AIQ) and state quota for the academic year 2025-26. In case of any discrepancy, medical colleges are advised to contact the Medical Assessment and Rating Board (MARB) and NMC within 15 days of the notice.
A total of 57,503 broad specialty seats are offered for admission to medical colleges. NMC has warned medical colleges that failure to report discrepancies within a given deadline could affect the updating of student admission details on the NMC admission portal.
The NEET PG counselling 2025 seat matrix reflects the number of PG seats available across medical colleges as of December 8, including seats approved on or before that date under NMC.

As per the NMC's NEET PG seat matrix 2025, a total of 7,619 seats have been added for admission to medical colleges in the academic year 2025-26.
NEET PG counselling 2025 is held in four rounds, including a stray vacancy round for both AIQ and state quota seats. As per the NEET PG counselling 2025 state quota admission schedule, the round 1 counselling is over, and round 2 will close in the last week of December.
The NEET PG 2025, the round 3 state counselling will begin on December 31, and the last date to join is January 19. The commencement of the academic session for both AIQ and state quota seats is scheduled from December 22 onwards.
As per the MCC NEET PG counselling 2025 round 2 schedule, candidates are advised to report to the allotted college by December 25, and the verification of joined candidates and data sharing last date is December 26. Candidates are allotted PG seats based on the choices entered, seat availability, reservation criteria, and other factors.
