Download nowNEW DELHI: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will soon announce the National Eligibility Entrance Test - Postgraduate (NEET PG) counselling dates 2024 for admission to postgraduate medical programmes offered at medical colleges across the country. The National Board of Examinations (NBEMS) has declared NEET PG result 2024 on natboard.edu.in. NEET PG score card 2024 will be issued on August 30.
MCC will conduct the admission process to various PG medical programmes such as Doctor of Medicine (MD) in general medicine, radio-diagnosis , orthopaedics, gynaecology , and Master of Surgery (MS) programmes, among others based on ranks obtained by the candidates in NEET PG 2024 result.
While the central counselling committee will fill the 50 percent All India Quota (AIQ) seats in the participating colleges and universities, the state medical councils will conduct counselling for the rest of the seats in medical institutes in their respective states.
Dermatology is among the top medical programmes chosen by students for pursuing a PG medical degree. Last year, the highest NEET PG cut-off at which a college closed admission to the MD in Dermatology programme was 29 at Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi.
