NEW DELHI: The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) result date will be declared soon. NEET 2021 was held on September 12. The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to announce the NEET 2021 results after the release of the answer key. NTA will release the NEET official answer key after October 13, 2021. Aspirants can view the result on NEET 2021's official website, neet.nta.nic.in.

A total of 16.14 lakh candidates registered for the NEET examination for admission to MBBS, BDS, and other medical courses at reputed government and private medical colleges all over the country.
After the results are displayed, candidates can check their results online on the official website using their login credentials. Candidates must note that the NEET 2021 result will not be mailed under any circumstances.

To view the results, click on the 'View NEET-UG 2021 - Result' tab on the screen.
A login page for NEET will appear on the screen.
Enter the roll number and date of birth, and click the 'submit' button.
It will then display NEET 2021 results.

The NEET cut-off is the score that the candidate must achieve to pass the entrance exam. The cut-off of NEET 2021 is the 50th percentile for the general category, and in the case of SC/ST/OBC and general-PH students, qualifying percentiles are 40th and 45th percentiles.
According to Career Point experts, the exam was moderate to difficult; thus, the NEET UG cut-off for the General category would be between 715 -145, which will be slightly less than the last year.
In the general category, the cut-off marks range for NEET the previous year were 720-147, while for SC/ST/OBC, they were 146-113. However, the corresponding score to it differs each year, depending on a lot of factors.

Candidates who qualify for UG medical entrance exams will be eligible for the NEET 2021 counselling session. In the previous session, 7,71,500 students had qualified for the NEET exam to participate in the admission process. The NTA will release the merit lists of the candidates based on their NEET results. MCC and the respective state counselling authorities will release the seat allotment lists based on the preferences of colleges, seats availability, NEET score, reservation criteria and other factors.
