NEET SS 2024 registration deadline today; exam on March 29,30

NEET SS 2024: The application correction facility will be available March from 11 to 13.
NEW DELHI: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) will close National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test Super Specialty (NEET SS) 2024 registration today, February 24. Candidates will be able to fill up the NEET SS 2024 registration form by visiting the official website, natboard.edu.in. The NEET SS 2024 exam will be held in 2 days.
Candidates will be able to edit the already submitted NEET SS 2024 application form from March 11. The NEET SS 2024 application correction window will close on March 13. NEET SS is conducted by the NBE for admission to various DM, MCh and DNB courses. Recently, NBEMS has announced that qualified candidates of MS-Traumatology and Surgery are eligible for NEET SS 2024 .
The NEET SS 2024 eligibility criteria are as follows
- Candidates are required to hold a postgraduate degree (MD, MS, DNB, Equivalent) from a recognised institution
- Candidates are required to complete their postgraduate degree on or before April 30, 2025
- Candidates are required to be registered with the Medical Council of India or State Medical Council.
NEET SS 2024 exam date
The NEET SS 2024 exam is scheduled to be conducted on March 29 and 30 at various exam centres across the country. The NEET SS admit card 2024 will be issued on March 25. A NEET SS 2024 mock test will be posted on the official website to familiarise candidates with exam structure. The NEET SS 2024 mock test will be available from March 20 onwards.
NEET SS 2024 exam pattern
All DM, MCh, and DrNB courses offered through NEET SS 2024 will be categorized into 15 different groups.
For DM and DrNB Medical Oncology, a dedicated "Medical Oncology Group" will have a separate question paper focusing exclusively on medical oncology topics. Similarly, for DM and DrNB Critical Care Medicine, there will be a distinct "Critical Care Medicine" question paper covering subjects specifically related to critical care medicine.
The NEET SS 2024 exam will be conducted in online mode. The medium of the NEET SS 2025 question paper is English. There will be a total of 150 multiple-choice questions. The duration of the NEET SS 2024 exam is 2 hours 30 minutes. The NEET SS 2025 carries a total of 400 marks. Candidates will get 4 marks for each correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for incorrect answers.
