NEET SS stray round counselling 2024 registration begins today after cut-off percentile reduction

NEET SS 2025: The last date for stray round counselling registration is July 27 till 6 pm.
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will commence the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Super Speciality Courses (NEET SS) 2025 stray round registration today, July 24. Eligible candidates can apply for NEET SS stay round counselling 2025 on the official website, mcc.nic.in, till July 27.
As per the MCC NEET SS stray round schedule 2025 , the choice locking facility will be available from July 27 to 28 onwards. The NEET SS seat allotment 2024 results will be declared on July 30.
To participate in NEET SS counselling process, candidates have to first register on MCC portal by entering their details and paying required fees along with security deposit. After registering for counselling, candidates will have to submit their preferences of specialisation and colleges, in which they are willing to take admissions.
Candidates will be allotted seats based on choices filled, seats available, NEET SS rank, reservation criteria and other factors. NEET SS counselling 2025 registration fee is Rs 5,000 (non-refundable) and Rs 2 lakh as security deposit fee (refundable).

NEET SS 2024 qualifying percentile lowered
Previously, the ministry of health and family welfare (MoHFW) had lowered the NEET SS cut-off percentile , allowing candidates to participate in stray round NEET SS counselling 2024. The board also clarified that there will be no change in NEET SS question paper group-specific rank. Candidate registrations will be accepted and seats will be allotted based on subject to fulfilment of eligibility criteria. NEET SS 2024 results were announced on April 25, and the exam was conducted on March 29 and 30.
