NEET UG 2021 Counselling: Round-two registration begins today

Download EBookNEW DELHI: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will begin the registration for round two of National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test or NEET UG 2021 counselling at mcc.nic.in today, February 16, 2022. NEET 2021 qualified candidates who wish to participate in round two of NEET counselling must register and submit their choices by February 21, 2022. The choice filling for NEET 2021 counselling will begin on February 17, 2022.

MCC will release the seat allotment list for the second round of NEET counselling 2021 on February 26, 2022. Candidates who will be included in the allotment list will be required to report to their allotted colleges between February 27 and March 5, 2022.
On the basis of MCC NEET counselling admission will be granted to deemed/central universities, ESIC, AFMS, AIIMS, and JIPMER institutions within the 15% All India Quota (AIQ).For NEET 2021, 89,395 MBBS, 27,948 BDS, 52,720 Ayurveda, 603 BVSc, and AH seats will be available, in addition to 1,899 AIIMS and 249 JIPMER MBBS seats.

The steps for participating in NEET UG counselling are outlined below.

Go to the 'UG counselling' tab

To register, click on the 'New registration' link

Fill in your name, father's name, mother's name, email ID, mobile number, and other details

User ID and password will be sent to your registered email address

Please log in and complete the NEET counselling registration process

The NEET 2021 registration fee must be paid online

Take the printout of the confirmation page and transaction fee
What after NEET 2021 counselling registration?
Following the successful registration, candidates are required to submit and lock their choice of a course and college for NEET 2021 counselling round two. An allotment of NEET seats will be made based on a candidate's choices, seats available, NEET rank, reservation criteria, and other factors. Reporting and joining follow seat allotment in the second round.

After completing round two of AIQ, seats that had previously been reassigned to the states will be filled in an online way during the mop-up and stray-vacancy rounds.

Resignations will not be permitted for candidates who accept seats in Round 2 and subsequent rounds of counseling. Further rounds of NEET 2021 counselling will also not be available to them.

In the mop-up round, candidates who do not accept the offered seats in Round 2 may participate in subsequent rounds of NEET counselling with forfeiture of their security deposits.
