NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET 2022) today, July 17 from 2 to 5:20 pm. The medical entrance examination will be conducted in pen and paper mode at 497 cities in India and 14 cities abroad.

As per the NEET 2022 paper pattern, a total of 200 questions will be asked, out of which aspirants will have to answer 180. NEET question paper will comprise of three sections: Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Physics and Chemistry sections will be of 180 marks however, Biology section will be of 360 marks making it a total of 720 marks.
There is a provision of negative marking in the NEET exam 2022. As per the NEET marking scheme 2022, four marks will be awarded for every correct answer and one mark will be deducted for every wrong answer. Also, un-attempted questions will carry no marks.
Candidates must reach their allotted examination centre as per the time allotted to them in the NEET admit card.
Candidates must carry a copy of NEET 2022 admit card along with a valid ID proof and 2 passport size photographs to avoid any hustle.
Candidates shall not carry calculators, log tables, electronic devices, pencil, eraser with them.
Aspirants must adhere to the NEET exam day dress code as stated by the authority.
Candidates should not bring pencil box, geometry box, pens or other writing aids to the exam centre as these will be provided by the authority.
Candidates must follow the Covid-19 protocols during the examination and have to wear masks throughout the process.
NEET 2022 will be conducted in 13 languages. Through NEET UG 2022 scores, admission will be granted to medical, dental and AYUSH courses in India.
