NEW DELHI: The National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test-Undergraduate (NEET UG 2023) will be held on May 7. This year, a total of 20.87 lakh medical aspirants have registered for NEET 2023 for MBBS, BDS admissions 2023. The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to issue the NEET UG admit card 2023 and exam city intimation slip soon on the official website, NEET UG 2023 Exam City Slip Live Updates

Meanwhile, students can check the latest updates on the medical entrance exam, eligibility for MBBS, BDS courses and medium of question paper here. They must also note that the NTA will release the NEET hall ticket on UMANG, DigiLocker platforms as well.

The NTA recently revised the eligibility criteria for the non-resident Indian (NRI). The overseas citizen of India (OCI) were allowed to apply for admission against NRI seats or supernumerary seats only. However, as per the announcement made by the NTA, the NRIs, OCI, persons with Indian origin (PIO) and foreign nationals are eligible for admission in medical, dental, Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani and homeopathy colleges subject to rules and regulations.

Clarifying on the medium of NEET question paper, the NTA said that candidates opting for English would be provided a test booklet in English only. While candidates opting for Hindi or any other regional languages will get bilingual test booklets. “The booklet will contain English and Hindi paper in white colour and the regional language in yellow colour, Urdu will be available in green colour,” the NTA clarified.

In view of the rising COVID-19 cases in India, a large section of students have taken to Twitter tagging Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan to postpone NEET UG 2023 exam. However, the NTA has not issued any statement regarding the NEET UG postponement. With less than a month left for the largest medical entrance exam of India, students are advised to prepare for the exam and chapter-wise weightage to score well in the exam.
