NEW DELHI: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will start the choice locking facility for the NEET UG stray vacancy round counselling 2024 today. Medical aspirants will have to fill choices and lock their options in the order of preference by 8 am of October 26 through the official website, mcc.nic.in.

The NEET UG choice filling facility began on October 23 for a total of 1,184 clear stray vacancies notified by the MCC. According to the NEET UG counselling schedule, the seat allotment results 2024 will be declared on October 29 after processing the allocation between October 26 to 28.

The MCC NEET UG choice locking link will be made available at 4 pm today and will be closed at 8 am tomorrow, October 26. As per the latest update, a seat of Sri Lakshmi Narayan Institute of Medical Science Kudapakkam Post, Villianur, Puducherry has been added as per the Kerala High Court order.

NEET UG stray round eligibility

The MCC had issued the eligibility criteria for NEET UG stray vacancy round counselling 2024.

Who is eligible?

Not eligible

Candidates who are not holding any seat either in All India Quota or State Quota are eligible to participate in the NEET UG stray vacancy round.

Those who are holding a MBBS, BDS seat in AIQ or state quota will not be eligible.

Those who have ‘Not Reported’ at the allotted college of round 3 counselling can participate in state UG counselling.

Candidates who did not join their seats allotted in NEET UG round-3 are ‘not eligible’ to participate in the stray round.

Candidates who have not joined in the earlier rounds.

Candidates who have joined state quota seats through earlier rounds are not eligible to participate in MCC stray round counselling.
