The medical entrance exam will be conducted for admission to MBBS, BDS, and other undergraduate medical programmes offered by colleges and universities.
The NEET syllabus 2025 is available on the NEET 2025 official website. The National Medical Commission (NMC) has prepared the syllabus with no changes in NEET subject-wise topics .
The Indian Medical Association (IMA) recently wrote to Prime Minister Narendra Modi demanding an extra NEET attempt and age relaxation for candidates affected by Covid-19.
Meanwhile, the Centre recently told the Supreme Court that it would implement all the measures suggested by the seven-member expert committee in the NEET exam this year.
The expert panel has suggested changes in NEET UG including multi-stage test, multi-session exam, better allocation of test centres, computer-assisted pen-and-paper mode exam, digital transfer of question papers.

Taking to X, an aspirant suggested holding the exam in two sessions. “At least they should go with conducting NEET UG 2025 as a two-tier exam which recommends Prelims for all, Mains for 2-3 lakh students,” they said.
Tagging union health minister Jagat Prakash Nadda and union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan, another aspirant wrote, “Please conduct NEET UG 2025 in online CBT mode and announce it as soon as possible.”
Asking for an update on NEET UG 2025 exam date , a candidate posted, “Sir, any update on NEET UG 2025? Will it be a CBT or pen and paper exam?”
