NEET UG 2025 will also apply to BDS, BVSc and AH admissions, clarifies NTA

Enrol NowNEW DELHI : The National Testing Agency (NTA) has clarified that the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET UG) 2025 scores will also be applicable to Bachelor of Dental Studies (BDS), and Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (BVSc and AH) courses for the academic session 2025-26.
“In continuation to the Public Notice dated 16 January 2025 on the mode of conduct of NEET (UG)-2025, it is clarified that in addition to the courses mentioned in the Public Notice dated 16 January 2025, NEET (UG)-2025 scores and merit list will also apply for admissions to BDS and BVSc & AH courses as followed in the past in accordance with the rules governed by respective regulatory bodies,” the NTA NEET 2025 notification read.
The testing agency informed that NEET UG 2025 information bulletin will be available soon on the official website, neet.nta.nic.in, along with the NEET 2025 application form. “The candidates who desire to appear in NEET (UG) 2025 may refer detailed Information Bulletin for NEET UG 2025 which will be made available in the website (www.neet. nta.nic. in) in due course at the time of launch of application form,” it stated.
Recently, NTA announced that the National Medical Commission (NMC) has decided to conduct the NEET 2025 exam in pen-and-paper mode in a single shift on a single day. Also, BSc Nursing aspirants will be required to qualify the medical entrance exam, starting from this academic session.
Earlier, the testing agency advised the prospective students to use their APAAR ID and Aadhaar-based authentication during the NEET UG 2025 registration . NTA has uploaded the NEET UG 2025 syllabus on the official website.
