NEW DELHI : The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) allows candidates in the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET UG) counselling 2022 mop-up round to change their nationalities from Indian to NRI from 5 PM today, November 25 up to 11 AM on November 27, 2022.

Such candidates are required to send a list of documents in support to their claim of changing nationality on the e-mail ug.nri.mcc@gmail.com. MCC advises candidates to not send e-mail before or after the stipulated time as they will not be considered. In addition to this, candidates must send all documents enclosed in a single email only.

The Candidates applying for conversion are required to only use the Annexure-I format provided at mcc.nic.in followed by the list of documents mentioned below.
Documents required to change nationality from Indian to NRI in NEET UG counselling mop-up round
- Annexure-I
- Documents including passport, visa of the sponsorer claiming that the sponsorer is a NRI.
- Relationship of NRI with the candidate as per the Supreme Court orders
- Affidavit from the sponsorer that they will sponsor the entire course fee of the candidate duly notarized.
- Embassy certificate of the sponsorer (certificate from the consulate).
- NEET scorecard of the candidate.
- Family tree notarized by Tehsildar.
