Try NowThe Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has started the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) counselling 2026 round 1 choice filling process. Candidates who have registered for the NEET UG counselling can apply for round 1 choice filling on the official website, mcc.nic.in .
The last date to complete the NEET UG round 1 choice filling is August 13, 2026.
NEET UG 2026 Counselling LIVE updates
Candidates can fill their preferred choices for colleges and courses for admission to MBBS, BDS, and other UG medical programmes. Choice locking will be active from 4 pm on August 12 to 11 am on August 13, 2026.
The MCC will announce NEET UG 2026 round 1 seat allotment results on August 17, 2026. Candidates will be allotted seats based on choice filling, NEET UG rank, reservation criteria and seat availability.
Steps to complete NEET UG Counselling 2026 round 1 choice filling
Candidates can follow these steps to complete the choice filling process.
- Visit the official website, mcc.nic.in
- On the homepage, click on the UG medical counselling 2026 link
- Log in with the NEET UG application credentials
- Then click on the choice filling and locking option
- Select the preferred colleges and courses in the desired order
- Save the choices and review them again
- Lock the choices before the deadline
- Download and keep a copy of locked choices for future references

Candidates can add, delete, or rearrange their preferences many times before the choice-locking window closes. No further modifications will be allowed once the deadline passes.
