NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will be conducting the National Eligibility-cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG 2025) on May 4. The single-largest medical entrance exam is held every year for over 20 lakh MBBS aspirants. NEET Registration 2025 Live
Along with the NEET UG exam date 2025, the NTA has announced to begin the NEET UG registration starting from February 7. The National Medical Commission (NMC) on December 17 published the updated NEET UG syllabus 2025 on the official website, nmc.org.in.
The high-level expert committee set by the ministry of education, as directed by the Supreme Court, had recommended a hybrid model, multiple-stage exam, and fewer attempts for NEET UG 2025. The NTA will be conducting the exam in computer-assisted pen and paper format to avoid paper leak.
As per the NEET UG schedule 2025, the registration process will conclude on March 7.
The NEET UG question paper 2025 will have a total of 200 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), out of which students will have to attempt 180 questions. Candidates will be awarded four marks for each correct answer and one mark will be deducted for each wrong answer, as per the exam pattern.

NEET UG is a gateway entrance exam for admission to undergraduate medical education in all medical institutions, including All India Institutes of Medical Sciences (AIIMS). A total of 1,09,153 MBBS seats will be filled by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) through the NEET UG counselling 2025.
How to fill NEET UG application form 2025
MBBS aspirants will be able to fill the NEET UG form 2025 by following the steps given below.
- Visit the new NEET UG official website, exams.nta.ac.in/NEET/.
- Click on the NEET UG registration link 2025 on the homepage.
- Enter a valid email address and phone number and basic details to generate credentials.
- Login again using the credentials generated.
- Now enter the personal and academic details and select preferred exam centres.
- Proceed to upload required documents including photograph and signature.
- Make the NEET UG registration fee payment through online mode.
- Review all the details entered and submit the application form.
