• A scanned copy of the candidate’s signature on a white sheet.
• Student’s finger and thumb impressions (scanned).
• Latest passport-size photograph.
• Government-approved valid ID proof.
• Category certificate (if required)
• Domicile certificate.’

Candidates applying for NEET UG 2025 exam can follow the steps given below.

• Enter name, gender, date of birth and other details
• Provide a valid mobile number and email ID (for OTP verification)
• Enter the security pin as displayed on the registration screen
• Choose a password for the registration process of NEET 2025

The NEET UG exam will be held in a single shift in OMR pen-paper mode on May 4, 2025, to fill a total of 1,08,940 MBBS seats through the NEET UG 2025 test.

• Correct answer: Four marks (+4)

NTA has again revamped the NEET UG tie-breaking criteria. As per NTA, a new expert committee will resolve ties through a 'random process.' NTA will follow the below given tie-breaking criteria to resolve the ties between the two candidates. 

• Candidate having higher marks, percentile score in biology - botany and zoology - in the test, followed by,
• Candidate having higher marks, percentile score in chemistry in the test, followed by,
• Candidate obtaining higher marks, percentile score in physics in the Test, followed by,
• Candidate with less proportion of the number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in all the subjects in the test,
• Candidate with less proportion of a number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in biology in the test, followed by
• Candidate with less proportion of a number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in chemistry in the test, followed by
• Candidate with less proportion of several attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in physics in the test, followed by
• In case, a-g criteria are exhausted and the tie still persists, it will be resolved through a random process with the guidance of an independent expert committee.

• Left and right-hand fingers and thumb impressions in JPG, JPEG format (size: 10 kb to 200 kb)
• PwD, PwBD certificate in PDF format (size: 50 kb to 300 kb)
• Citizenship certificate, embassy certificate, or any other documentary proof of citizenship in PDF format (size: 50 kb to 300 kb)

Students belonging the general category, have to pay Rs 1,700 as an application fee for the NEET UG 2025 exam. Candidates from the general- economically weaker sections (General-EWS), other backward castes - and noncreamy layer (OBC-NCL) categories have to pay Rs 1,000 as a registration fee.

NTA has begun the NEET UG 2025 registration process. MBBS aspirants can register for the exam till March 7, 2025, through the official website at neet.nta.nic.in.

NTA clarified that APAAR ID is not mandatory for the NEET UG registrations and that the applicants can also use different modes to apply for the exam. Candidates can register for NEET 2025 exam at neet.nta.nic.in.

No, the National Medical Commission (NMC) has decided to conduct the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET UG) 2025 only once for the academic session 2025-26. The National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM) has introduced a new Pre-Ayurveda Programme (PAP), for a Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) degree. The programme will start at senior secondary level and the eligibility is Class 10. For admission to the 7.5 year Ayurveda programme, students will be required to fill a NEET-PAP form.
