NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has begun the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET-UG) 2025 registration. The NEET UG 2025 registration will take place till March 7, 2025. Eligible candidates can fill out the NEET UG registration form 2025 on the official website, neet.nta.nic.in.
NEET UG 2025 exam will take place on May 4. The NTA will issue the NEET UG 2025 admit card by May 1, 2025. NEET UG 2025 information bulletin carries details on eligibility criteria, exam pattern, marking scheme, syllabus, registration fee, among other details.
NTA has clarified that an APAAR ID is not mandatory for NEET 2025 registration, and encouraged applicants to use other means.
Here are the steps to fill NEET UG 2024 application form-
As per the revised NEET 2025 exam pattern, section B will not have optional questions anymore. The exam will be held for a total of 180 questions. Candidates will get three hours to write the test. The NEET 2025 question paper will comprise three sections – physics, chemistry, and mathematics. Physics and chemistry will contain 45 questions each while biology will have 90 questions.
The National Medical Commission (NMC) has decided to conduct NEET UG in a pen-and-paper mode in a single shift. NEET UG syllabus 2025 is available on the official website.

The NEET UG exam will be held in a single shift in OMR pen-paper mode on May 4, 2025, to fill a total of 1,08,940 MBBS seats through the NEET UG 2025 test.
