NERIST PG 2025 registration opens at nerist.ac.in; MTech seat intake, eligibility criteria

NERIST PG 2025: The MBA selection process includes a written test, followed by a group discussion and personal interview.
NEW DELHI: The North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology (NERIST) has started the registration process for post-graduate and PhD programmes 2025-2026. The NERIST PG 2025 registration form can be filled by visiting the official website, nerist.ac.in.
As per the official schedule, the NERIST PG 2025 registration deadline is June 6. The admit cards for NEPGET 2025 will be issued on June 6. The NEPGET 2025 exam date for PhD candidates is June 27 and for other PG programmes June 14. The NERIST PG 2025 registration fee is Rs 1,500 for all candidates.
NERIST PG 2025: Eligibility criteria
The eligibility criteria for NERIST PG programmes are as follows
MSc (Full-Time)
Candidates are required to have a BSc degree in the relevant discipline with a minimum of 60% marks or a CGPA of 6.5 on a 10-point scale for admission to MSc programmes in physics, mathematics, chemistry, or forestry.
MBA
Candidates are required to have a bachelor's degree in any discipline with at least 55% aggregate marks. Those who have qualified for CAT, MAT, CAMT, or XAT will be exempted from the written test.
MTech (Full-Time)
Candidates are required to have a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate or a CGPA of 6.5 on a 10-point scale. GATE or NET qualified candidates will be exempted from the written test.

Interview and GD
As per NERIST PG 2025 schedule, the interview and group discussion for MBA admissions will be conducted on June 1. The interview for eligible PhD candidates will take place on June 28 at the respective departments or centers.
The results for NERIST PG programmes will be announced by June 24 while PhD results will be declared on June 30.
NERIST PG counselling 2025 and admission
Counselling and course registration for MBA and MSc programmes will take place on July 9 for selected and waitlisted candidates. MTech admissions will be held on July 10 followed by PhD admissions on July 11. A second round of NERIST PG 2025 counselling and course registration for any remaining vacant seats in MBA, MSc, and MTech. programmes will be conducted on July 12. If seats remain unfilled, a spot round will be held on July 15.
