NEST 2023 exam date announced; Registration to begin on February 27

Download NowNEW DELHI: The National Entrance Screening Test (NEST) 2023 schedule is released by the National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar and the University of Mumbai - Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM-DAE CEBS). As per the official dates, the NEST 2023 exam will be held on June 24, 2023.
The NEST 2023 application form will be made available on February 27. Candidates will able to fill out the form through the official website- nestexam.in.

NEST 2023: Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates in the unreserved and OBC categories must have been born on or after August 1, 2003. The age limit is relaxed by 5 years for Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Divyangjan candidates,
- Class 12 qualifying examination must have passed in either 2021 or 2022. Candidates appearing in 2023 are also eligible.
- At least 60 per cent marks in aggregate or equivalent grade in Class 12 from any recognized Board in India. For SC, ST and Divyangjan candidates, the minimum requirement is 55 per cent.
- Candidates should secure a position in the NEST 2023 merit list.

NEST is a compulsory test for students seeking admission to the National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar and the University of Mumbai - Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM-DAE CEBS), Mumbai.
