From BTech in climate change to BA in tribal management, here’s a list of 30 new courses
Not just IITs, new universities too have framed a range of specialised BTech, BA, BSc and MBA courses, or recast existing ones.

NEW DELHI : From B.Tech in climate change and medical genetics to BA in human rights and tribal management, new universities, both public and private, have come up with a wide array of new and specialised programmes that equip youth to face contemporary challenges. Some have added specialisation to existing programmes while others have offered new programmes with interdisciplinary aspects.
Over the years, new Institutions of National Importance such as the Indian Institutes of Technology (
IIT
), Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (
IISER
), National Institutes of Technology (
NIT
) have been churning out various new courses and new disciplines. Several new universities, public and private, have also kept pace
with them.

Here are a few non-traditional courses that you can pursue from some of the new universities. In two instances, details of the course were not available online and institutions could not be contacted.
