NID BDes final results 2025 at 4 pm; counselling begins at admissions.nid.edu today

NID BDes Result Today: National Institute of Design (NID) will announce the BDesign final results on May 16 at 4 pm. Along with the NID BDes results 2025, the institute will also start the counselling process today. Candidates can check their scores and download the results through the official website, admissions.nid.edu.

Students who qualify the entrance exam will have to submit their college and course preferences from 4 pm today to 5 pm on May 19.

The NID BDes round 1 counselling process will include seat allotment, confirmation of seat, payment of non-refundable fees and uploading of documents. The time duration to complete the counselling process for round 1 is scheduled between May 27 to 30.

NID BDesign programmes are offered at NID campuses at Ahmedabad, Andhra Pradesh, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, and Assam.

The institute conducted the Design Aptitude Test (DAT) in two stages - DAT prelims and DAT Mains. NID BDes final results 2025 will be declared by giving 40% weightage to prelims and the remaining 60% to marks obtained in DAT Mains.

NID BDes tie-breaking rule 2025

In case the total marks scored by two or more candidates are the same, the institute will follow a tie-breaking method to award ranks.

• Higher rank will be assigned to the candidate who has obtained higher marks in Part B of the DAT Prelims.
• If tie persists, higher rank will be assigned to the candidate who has obtained higher marks in Part A of the DAT Prelims.
• If this still does not break the tie, then both the candidates will be assigned the same rank.
