NID DAT 2022 M.Des mains exam today; Exam pattern, timing, and guidelines

NEW DELHI: The National Institute of Design is scheduled to conduct the NID DAT 2022 M.Des mains exam offline at the respective NID campuses from today, June 6, at 9 am. The duration of the design entrance exam will be of 3 hours. The NID DAT 2022 studio test will be held in a single shift for all days except June 13, 22, and 23. The first shift of NID DAT M.Des 2022 mains will begin at 9 am and the second shift will start at 2:30 pm. Students should read and follow the NID DAT 2022 exam guidelines to avoid any hindrance during the NID mains examination.

The NID DAT 2022 mains exam consists of a studio test and a personal interview. The studio test will be conducted offline at NID's respective campuses and the personal interview will be conducted in online mode. It is mandatory to carry the NID DAT M.Des admit card when coming for the studio test. No one will be allowed on campus without a hall ticket.

The DAT 2022 mains exam for the M.Des program will consist of a studio test and a personal interview.

• Studio test: Online mode

• Interview: Offline mode

The students who are shortlisted for NID DAT mains would be required to upload a statement of purpose (SoP) and Portfolio in the specific window/ time which will be intimated to them on their valid registered email-id/ result page.

Separate Portfolio and SoPs to be uploaded for each discipline shortlisted for. The statement of purpose (SoP) should contain a maximum of 100 words (for each question) and the same will have to be uploaded as a single pdf file, not exceeding 2 MB file size.

Such shortlisted students will also be required to upload a digital copy of their portfolio as a single pdf file, not exceeding 10 MB file size.

NID DAT 2022 mains exam day guidelines

• Students must appear in the studio test and online personal interview to be included in the final merit list for NID DAT 2022.

• It is the student’s sole responsibility to download and print the NID DAT 2022 admit card for the studio test.

• The candidates are also required to bring the hard copy of the NID DAT mains admit card along with the valid original photo id proofs, as mentioned in the NID DAT MDes admit card.

• Only the students will be allowed entry into the mains exam campus. Parents/ friends/ relatives shall not be allowed to enter the NID campuses.

• Entry into the exam centre will be closed sharply as per the schedule mentioned in the NID DAT studio test admit card 2022.

• Students are not permitted to bring any electronic devices into the exam hall.
