NID DAT Mains 2023: Exam centre selection for BDes studio test starts today

Try NowNEW DELHI: The National Institute of Design (NID) will open the provision to choose a test centre for the Design Aptitude Test (DAT) Mains studio test from today, April 3 (4 pm). The candidates will have to log-in using their login credentials and select the NID DAT 2023 Mains studio test centre by April 5. The official website to select NID DAT mains 2023 studio test centre is admissions.nid.edu.
The NID DAT Mains test centre will have to be selected by the candidates themselves only, a NID statement said.
Saying that the allotment of DAT mains test centre will be on first-cum-first-serve basis, NID said: “Once submitted, change in the test centre will not be accommodated. Candidates who fail to submit their test centre preference, will be allotted the test centre automatically by the system based on the number of seats available at the respective test centres.”
The discretion, NID added, to allot any test centre rests with Admission Cell-NID Ahmedabad.
NID DAT 2023 Mains Studio Test: 5 Points
1. It is mandatory for the candidates to appear for the Studio Test in order to qualify for the final stage of admissions.
2. Rescheduling of studio test or change in the test centre will not be accommodated, under any circumstances.
3. Admit cards for the studio test can be downloaded from April 14
4. The candidates will have to bring a hard copy of the admit card along with photo ID proofs, as mentioned in the admit card for the studio test.
5. NID reserves the right to add or remove any test centre and allot a test centre that may not be of the candidate’s choice. A city may have more than one test centre.
