NID declares DAT prelims 2026 result at admissions.nid.edu; rechecking window open till April 4, mains selection next
The National Institute of Design (NID) declared the NID DAT prelims for B.Des programme result on the official website of NID at admissions.nid.edu. Applicants can access the result by using the login credentials: email address and date of birth. The NID DAT prelims 2026 exam was conducted on December 21, 2025.
The window to request rechecking of the NID BDes results will remain open from April 2 at 4 pm to April 4, 2026, until 11:59 pm.
Applicants who are shortlisted will be qualified for the NID BDes mains, candidates will be shortlisted in a ratio of 1.5 times the available seats. The second stage of the NID BDes selection process includes a studio test and a personal interaction round conducted in person. As per the NID 2026 admission guidelines, the final selection will be based solely on the performance in the mains examination.
