Subscribe NowNEW DELHI: The National Institute of Design (NID) will declare the Bachelor of Design (BDes) Design Aptitude Test (DAT) prelims result 2025 today, April 1. The NID DAT 2025 BDes result will be available on the official website, admissions.nid.edu. The NID DAT prelims 2025 exam was conducted on January 5.
The NID DAT 2025 result rechecking window will open today, April 1. The NID DAT 2025 BDes prelims rechecking window will be closed on April 2, 4 pm. NIT DAT prelims result re-checking fee is Rs 2,000. The NID results 2025 for BDes will mention details such as programme, candidate’s name, roll number, category, section-wise scores, total marks, qualifying status.
The NID results for MDes was out on February 17. The NID MDes Mains 2025 is being conducted from March 1 to April 4. The NID DAT MDes 2025 mains result will be declared on May 6.
NID Result 2025 BDes (Mains): Tie-breaking policy
The NIT DAT BDes tie-breaking criteria are as follows:

A higher rank will be given to the candidate with higher marks in DAT Mains.

If the tie persists, the candidate with higher marks in stage 1 of the DAT will be ranked higher.

If the tie remains, the candidate with higher marks in stage 1 DAT part B will be given preference.

If the tie is still unresolved, a higher rank will be assigned to the candidate with higher marks in stage 1 DAT part A.

If the tie continues, the candidate who scores higher in the question carrying the maximum marks in the DAT Mains exam will be ranked higher.
NID DAT Results 2025: What’s next?
Candidates who qualify in prelims will be able to download their NID DAT Mains admit card on April 14. The NID DAT Mains exam will be held from April 26 to May 4. The NID DAT Mains result 2025 will be announced on May 16, 2025, after which candidates can submit their campus preferences from May 16 to May 18. If needed, candidates can request a rechecking of their NID DAT Mains scores between May 16 and May 17.
As per the NID counselling schedule, the seat allotment process will be conducted from May 27 to May 30. Finally, selected candidates will receive their provisional offer letters on June 10.
