The earlier round of physical assessment was held on June 27 at designated NIFT campuses. However, some candidates could not attend the session on medical grounds. NIFT has scheduled the final opportunity for such candidates. The assessment will begin at 10:30 am at the same campuses as previously notified.
“For the candidates who missed the assessment, a last chance for Physical Assessment is extended to be held on 1st July, 2025 at 10.30 in the Campus indicated vide the above-referred notification,” the official notice said.
Eligible candidates who secured a Common Merit Rank (CMR) in the NIFT entrance exam can check their assigned campus for the physical assessment in the official notification issued on June 23. The notice includes details such as the roll number, programme name, and the designated NIFT campus for each PwD candidate.

Candidates are required to carry original documents along with self-attested photocopies for submission to the Medical Board.
As per the admission guidelines, all PwD candidates will have to appear before NIFT’s evaluation committee, which assesses their physical or psychological suitability for the academic programmes they have applied to. Only those found fit by the committee will be considered for programme allotment. NIFT has stated that attendance at the physical assessment is compulsory. Candidates who fail to appear will not be eligible for seat allotment. The institute also reserves the right to disqualify any candidate found unfit for a particular academic programme based on the assessment.
