NIFT UG, PG Counselling 2025: Round 1 registration closes tonight; choice filling open till July 4

The NIFT choice filling facility for both UG, PG round 1 counselling will be available till July 4. Candidates should complete the NIFT counselling registration process on nift.admissions.nic.in.

Candidates who are yet to apply for the NIFT counselling and seat allocation will have to submit their application form by midnight on the official website, nift.ac.in or nift.admissions.nic.in.

This year, a total number of 17,974 unique registrations were recorded for NIFTEE 2025 stage 1 exam. Candidates had to appear in two separate tests – General Ability Test (GAT) and the Creative Ability Test (CAT). This resulted in a total of 33,877 test entries.
Candidates who have secured a valid Common Merit Rank (CMR) in the NIFT final results 2025 declared by the NTA should mandatorily register for counselling. The NIFT choice filling facility will be available till July 4.
“All candidates are required to ensure legibility of PDF Documents and the size of each document has to be between 100 KB to 500 КВ,” it clarified.
PwD candidates, who missed the physical assessment, will have to complete the process today at 10.30 am in the campus allotted. Such candidates are required to submit self-attested photocopies of the following documents.
- UDID card in original (Mandatory)
- Date of Birth certificate or Class 10 marksheet
- Class 12 marksheet
- Medical assessment reports, prescription etc.
- Category certificate if applicable
- NIFT scorecard 2025
- One passport size photograph.

NIFT will conduct a total of four rounds of counselling for both BDesign and MDesign admissions. The complete schedule is given below.
