NIOS Class 10, 12 results 2023 soon at results.nios.ac.in; over 50% failed last year

NEW DELHI: The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) is expected to announce the NIOS Class 10, 12 results 2023 soon. As per media reports, the NIOS results 2023 for Classes 10 and 12 will be declared this week on the official website, results.nios.ac.in.

The institute held the NIOS exam for both the classes from April 6 to May 8. It also said earlier that the results will be declared 6 weeks after the conclusion of exams. Last year, the NIOS result 2023 link was also hosted on the Digilocker platform at digilocker.gov.in.

In March this year, the minister of state for ministry of education, Annapurna Devi, told the Lok Sabha that less than 50 percent of Class 12 students were declared pass last year. The pass percentage of NIOS Class 10 stood at 57 percent.

An analysis of NIOS board exam result data by the ministry of education revealed that 58 lakh students of Class 10 and 12 did not get promoted.

While thousands of students await NIOS results 2023, the Odisha Directorate of Higher Secondary Education has already closed the Class 11 admission registration. On the other hand, the Mumbai University closed the undergraduate (UG) registration window on June 12 and published the first merit list on June 19.

Once the results are declared, students can follow the steps given below to download the NIOS Class 10, 12 results 2023.

• Visit the NIOS official website, results.nios.ac.in.
• Click on the NIOS result Class 10/Class 12 2023 link on the homepage.
• Enter the enrollment number and the security pin displayed on screen.
• Submit the details entered to check the results.
• NIOS result 2023 will be displayed on the screen.
• Check the marks secured and qualifying status.
• Download the results for future reference.
