NIT Trichy's Pragyan 2025: Companies such as Linux, Samsung, Mercedes will conduct workshops at the cultural fest.
NEW DELHI: The National Institute of Technology Tiruchirappalli (NIT Trichy) will host 21st edition of Pragyan, an annual international techno-managerial fest, from February 21 to 23 on campus. Themed at ‘Panoptica: Break The Code’, the event will see participation from several colleges.
Pragyan, the three-day cultural fest, will hold multiple events under seven clusters across many fields including management, coding, hardware, robotics and others.
Companies such as Linux, Samsung, Mercedes will conduct workshops at the event. The workshops will provide “hands-on experience in the field of their liking, setting them up for future endeavors in their respective domains,” the institute said.
“Pragyan holds an OpenHouse each year, a two-day event which aims to showcase projects made by students in their academic year, coming from several tech clubs and departments, the students have a chance to present the salient features and problem-solving capabilities of their projects to faculty as well as investors, effectively helping their projects gain much-deserved attention, bring them one step closer to being implemented in a real-world scenario,” the institute said.

NIT Trichy Pragyan 2025: Event highlights
NIT Trichy's Pragyan techno-managerial fest will host a couple of activities for students.
- Crossfire: The event will host renowned political personalities from across the country to discuss matters of social and economic importance.
- Ingenium: A technical contest, which will be conducted at a national level where students will be able to demonstrate new concepts and creativity.
- Sangam: A hardware hackathon will be organised for students to solve real-life problems at the grassroots level.
- Pragyan Blog and Podcast: Students will produce these outputs on “Medium and Spotify” to update the listeners about the fest. It serves as a communication between students and the "rest of the world."
Guest lectures by industry leaders and revolutionists will be part of the fest. The experts will be sharing their life experiences and “inspiring the thousands that attend them and guide them with their thoughts and invaluable advice,” it said.
