Candidates who registered for the CLAT counselling can check their admission status through the official website, consortiumofnlus.ac.in.

Candidates allotted five-year integrated and postgraduate law seats through the CLAT 2026 first provisional allotment can choose the ‘freeze’, ‘float’ or ‘exit’ option. Those selecting ‘freeze’ or ‘float’ must pay a non-refundable fee of Rs 20,000 to confirm their seat.
Candidates can view institute-wise seat allotment lists for both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. The CLAT seat allotment list includes details such as CLAT 2026 all-India rank, admit card number, and vertical and horizontal reservation categories.

Students allotted seats through CLAT 2026 counselling should keep their Class 10 and 12 mark sheets, CLAT 2026 admit card, character or conduct certificate, transfer or migration certificate, caste certificate, PwD or SAP certificate, and domicile or residence certificate ready.
CLAT 2026 Counselling: How to check seat allotment?
Candidates can check the CLAT 2026 first allotment list by following the steps below:
- Visit the official website, consortiumofnlus.ac.in.
- Click on the ‘1st Provisional Allotment List’ under notifications on the home page.
- Click on any institute link under UG or PG
- An institute-wise CLAT seat allotment list PDF will be displayed
- Download the PDF and check your admission status using your admit card number.
