NMC reopens online portal for colleges to fill PG Super-Specialty admission details

NMC portal for filling details of candidates who took admission in postgraduate super-specialty courses will remain open till May 27.

NEW DELHI: The National Medical Commission (NMC) has reopened the online portal for colleges to fill details of the candidates who took admission in postgraduate super-specialty courses from May 25 to 27, 2022. The decision comes following Supreme Court’s order and Medical Counselling Committee (MCC)’s notification saying that the last date of admission to PG Super-Specialty course has been extended till May 25.

“All the medical colleges and institutes are hereby informed that the online portal for filling up the details of candidates who took admission in PG Super-Specialty courses shall be reopened from May 25 to 27, 2022,” an official notification from NMC read.

The Commission requested the colleges to fill the requisite date in the stipulated time and informed that physical data will not be accepted.

Earlier, NMC had extended the last date for medical colleges to fill information related to admissions in postgraduate courses for the academic year 2021 on the NMC portal to May 9 as MCC had announced that the last date for admission in National Eligibility Entrance Test for postgraduate and super-speciality, NEET PG 2021 counselling and NEET SS 2021 counselling for All India Quota (AIQ) and state quota seats is May 7.

On April 5, NMC had issued a notification asking colleges to fill online information related to admissions made for postgraduate medical courses for the academic year 2021-22. Due to persistent changes in the last date of admission, colleges are not able to fill up the final details, NMC had said.
