No decision on Rajasthan board 10th, 12th exams 2021 yet: Report

NEW DELHI : The Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan is yet to take the final decision on RBSE Class 10, 12 board exams 2021. Earlier, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot postponed the Rajasthan board 10th, 12th exams due to the increase in COVID-19 cases in the state. As of now, the final decision regarding the Rajasthan board exam date 2021 is awaited.

Disapproving rumours on new exam dates, a board official said, “The government has not decided a date yet. We don’t know who is spreading all these false rumours,” as reported by NDTV .

Earlier, RBSE 10th exams 2021 were scheduled to be conducted between May 6 to 27, 2021, while the Rajasthan Board Class 12 board exams were all set to be held from May 6 to 29, 2021. However, RBSE board exams 2021 for Class 10, 12 were postponed later.

On April 14, the Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot took to his Twitter handle and said, “In the view of the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Rajasthan government has taken an important decision. RBSE Class 10, 12 board exams that are conducted by the Rajasthan Madhyamik Shiksha Board have been postponed.”

The minister also announced that the Rajasthan government has decided to promote the students of Class 8, 9 and 11. He said that these students have been promoted to the next class without exams.

Students are requesting the exam conducting authorities to cancel the Rajasthan board exams for Class 10 and 21 as the prevailing COVID-19 situation is worsening day by day.
