No fee will be charged from Kerala plus two students, says education minister Sivankutty
The Kerala government has decided to not charge fees from Class 12 students for the academic year 2020-21 in view of the COVID-19 situation.

NEW DELHI: The Kerala government has announced that no fee will be charged from Class 12 students for the academic year 2020-21 in view of the COVID-19 situation.
Kerala education minister V Sivankutty, in a tweet, said, “The Department of Education has decided not to charge fees from any second year / Plus Two student for the academic year 2020-21. This decision is based on the situation of Covid-19 in the country and state.”

Despite concerns over the second wave of COVID-19, the Kerala government conducted plus two examinations in the state, adhering to strict health protocol and precautionary measures. Kerala plus two board exams 2021 were held from April 8 to 26, 2021. On July 28, the Kerala plus two results were also declared. This year, the overall pass percentage of Kerala plus two exams is 87.94%.
The Kerala government also decided to increase the 20% extra seats for Class 11 students in all subjects in the government and aided higher secondary schools of seven districts - Thiruvananthapuram, Palakkad, Kozhikode, Malappuram, Wayanad, Kannur and Kasaragod.
In the latest Kerala plus one news, the DHSE released the revised timetable for Kerala plus one exam 2021. The DHSE Kerala plus one exam 2021 will now be conducted from September 6 to September 27, 2021.
