The Gautam Buddha Nagar district administration has revised school timings for students of Classes 1 to 8 in Noida and Greater Noida due to the ongoing heatwave conditions. Under the revised arrangement, schools have been instructed to conduct classes only from 7 am to 12 noon until further orders from the district administration.

According to the report, officials have taken this decision as high temperatures continue to increase the risk of heat-related illnesses among children.

DSE Kashmir announces summer vacation

The Directorate of School Education (DSE) Kashmir has declared a two-week summer vacation for all government and recognised private schools up to the higher secondary classes across Kashmir from July 6 to 19. The regular classes will resume from July 20 onwards.

This decision was taken as temperatures across the valley have been rising over the past few days.
