The National Testing Agency (NTA), which conducts the medical entrance test, held a re-exam for 120 candidates, it said in a statement. The NEET UG 2024 was held today, May 5, at 4,750 exam centres across India. The wrong question papers were distributed at Girls Higher Secondary Model School in Mantown, Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan.
"Despite efforts by invigilators, some candidates left the examination centre with question papers," the NTA statement said. The NTA reconducted the exam for approximately 120 affected students at the centre.
The NTA assured in its statement that the NEET (UG) 2024 examination began smoothly and was being conducted peacefully at all other examination centres across the country. The NEET UG 2024 was carried out in a single shift from 2 pm to 5:20 pm for around 24 lakh students.
According to students, the NEET exam was "moderately difficult" . The chemistry section was a bit lengthy, while biology was considered easy, said students. However, the physics paper posed a challenge for many.
