Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main exam is conducted for admission into engineering institutes like the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and National Institutes of Technology (NITs) while the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) exam is conducted every year for entry into the medical and dental institutes. NEET UG 2025 question paper will be available in 13 languages, English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu. Candidates are required to select the language while filling the NEET UG 2025 application form.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to conduct the CUET UG 2025 exam in the fourth week of May, in hybrid mode.
The NEET UG 2025 exam will be held offline in pen and paper mode. Candidates will have to mark their answers on the OMR sheet. The NEET 2025 question paper will have a total of 200 multiple-choice-questions, out of which only 180 are to be answered. The paper will be divided into three sections- physics, chemistry and biology. The syllabus for the CUET exam for which candidates need to prepare is as follows:
Language Subjects: Language to be tested through reading comprehension (based on different types of passages–factual, literary, and narrative), literary aptitude, and vocabulary.
Domain Subjects: As per the Class 12 syllabus only.
General Test: General knowledge, current affairs, general mental ability, numerical ability, quantitative reasoning (simple application of basic mathematical concepts arithmetic, algebra, geometry, mensuration, statistics), logical and analytical reasoning.
The CUET exam will be conducted in 13 languages including Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Punjabi, Odia, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
The CUET exam will be held in 388 Indian and 38 cities outside India including cities such as New York, Kuwait, Riyadh, Singapore, Doha, Dubai, etc. Candidates can choose up to three exam centres for CUET participation.

Academic qualifications: Candidates must have passed Class 12 from a recognised board. Candidates must have secured at least 50% and SC, ST, and OBC-NCL candidates must have at least 45% marks to apply for the CUET exam 2025.
