As per the JEE Main 2026 April 5 shift 2 paper review, the JEE Main 2026 April 5 evening shift paper was overall easy to moderate and easier than the January session. It was similar in level to the morning shift.
In chemistry, most questions were from Inorganic, followed by physical and organic. Physics and chemistry were easy and mostly based on formulas, while mathematics was more difficult because it involved long calculations.

The JEE Main 2026 April 5 shift 2 paper was similar to shift 1 but slightly tougher. Physics was more challenging, chemistry was easy, and mathematics was lengthy but manageable.

As per the JEE Main April 5 maths paper analysis, the mathematics section was of tough difficulty. It was tougher than chemistry and physics, and harder than the morning shift, though easier than the January session.
