Chief Minister of Odisha Naveen Patnaik announced that this year's Class 12 examination conducted by the Council for Higher Education has been canceled in the interest of the health of all students, teachers, and parents.
"Life is ahead, everything is behind. As long as life is safe, there will be eternal possibilities and society and civilization will move forward. The future of our country and nation is much more important than the tests of our children,” the minister added.
He further said that the Council of Higher Secondary Education will release the result within the stipulated time by the well defined objective criteria. “If no students are satisfied with the assessment, they can appear in the examination once the situation normalizes,” he said.
