Odisha Medhabruti Scholarship Scheme 2019-20 Guidelines Released

NEW DELHI, OCTOBER 9 : The Odisha State Government has released the guidelines for the selection of the students in the several scholarships provided under the ‘Medhabruti’ scheme 2019-20. As per this scheme, Odisha students who are pursuing the general courses - Plus III, post-graduation, technical and professional in both colleges and universities will be able to apply for the scholarships.

Odisha Medhabruti Scholarship Eligibility
There are several criteria which need to be fulfilled to apply for the scholarship.

Students who have a domicile of Odisha state can apply for the scholarship.

He/she must have scored a minimum of 60% marks in the exam. Additionally, the income of the parent/guardian of the applicants must not be more than 6 lakh per annum.

The meritorious students are supposed to apply for the scholarship in the first year of their course.

Only regular/ full-time students are eligible for this scheme.
According to the Odisha Medhabruti scholarship guideline, “If any student is getting the scholarship from the state and the Centre, he will not be eligible for this Medhabruti. Even students studying abroad will not get this scholarship.”
Odisha Medhabruti scholarship will be awarded to the students until the total duration of the course. This scholarship will be renewable yearly in the applied category until the completion of the course and validation by the institute he/she is admitted to.
