Osmania University, Hyderabad has postponed exams to be held on September 28 and 29 due to heavy rains, Telangana IT Director said.
NEW DELHI: Osmania University in Hyderabad has postponed all semester exams for different programmes to be conducted on September 28, 29 due to heavy rains, Telangana digital media director, Konatham Dileep said on social media.

“Important Announcement: All exams to be held under Osmania University on 28th and 29th September are postponed due to incessant rains,” Konatham Dileep said in a social media post.

According to an official notification issued by Osmania University, all the exams on these dates have been postponed and the revised exam schedule of each course or programme will be updated on the official website of the university - osmania.ac.in.
The notification added that the revised examination timetable for undergraduate (BA, BCom, BSc, BBA, BSW) second and fourth semesters, both regular and backlog, and PGRRCDE-UG (Professor G Ram Reddy Centre for Distance Education - undergraduate) programmes will also be posted on the website soon.

All other exams will be conducted as per the original schedule from September 30, the notification further said.
Earlier in March, Osmania University had closed all colleges and departments under the university following the orders of Telangana government to close all educational institutions due to increase in COVID-19 cases. The university had also postponed ongoing and scheduled exams and said that the revised schedule will be updated later.
