OTET 2026 admit card out at bseodisha.nic.in; exam rescheduled to June 28

Candidates can download the OTET 2026 admit card using login details, including registration number and password or date of birth. General category need to score at least 60 per cent to qualify

The Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha released the Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET) 2026 admit card on the official website of BSE Odisha at bseodisha.nic.in. Registered candidates can access their admit cards by logging in to the official portal with their credentials, such as their registration number and password or date of birth.

The BSE has revised the OTET 2026 examination date. According to the latest notification, the exam will now be held on June 28, 2026, instead of the previously scheduled date of June 21, 2026. As per the revised schedule, paper I will be conducted from 9 am to 11:30 am, while paper II will take place from 2 pm to 4:30 pm.

Candidates from the general category need to score at least 60 per cent (90 marks) to qualify, while SC, ST, OBC and PH candidates require 55 per cent (82 marks).

OTET 2026 Admit Card: Steps to download

To download the OTET 2026 admit card, applicants can follow the steps given below:

  • Visit the official BSE Odisha website at bseodisha.nic.in
  • Click on the OTET 2026 admit card link available on the homepage
  • Enter the required login credentials and submit the details
  • The admit card will be displayed on the screen
  • Download and take a printout of the admit card for future use

Candidates are advised to download and print their hall tickets in advance, as carrying a valid admit card is mandatory for entry into the examination centre.

OTET 2026: Exam pattern

The OTET 2026 comprises two papers: paper I for candidates aspiring to teach classes I to V and paper II for those seeking to teach classes VI to VIII. Each paper carries 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) for a total of 150 marks, with each question carrying one mark. The duration of each paper is 2 hours and 30 minutes (150 minutes), and there is no negative marking. The examination will be conducted in Odia and English.

OTET 2026 Exam: Syllabus

Paper I includes sections on Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I, Language II, Mathematics and Environmental Studies, while paper II covers Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I, Language II and either Mathematics and Science or Social Studies/Social Science, depending on the candidate's chosen teaching stream.
