Patna University to conduct entrance test for BEd admissions 2026 from April 7

Patna University Admissions 2026: The BEd entrance exam will have MCQs on General English, General Hindi, General Knowledge, Teaching Aptitude, Reasoning Ability, Educational Psychology subjects.
The Patna University has announced the exam dates for admission to its BEd programmes for the academic session 2025-27. The university will conduct the BEd entrance exams from April 7 to 15 in a single shift.
The BEd entrance test will be held in a single shift from 10 am to 1 pm at Vanijya Mahavidyalaya, Patna. The university will release the dates for practical, project, viva-voce or dissertation exams soon.
“Last date for confirmation and validation of examination forms by principals: 2 April 2026,” according to an official notification.

The question paper for the BEd entrance exam will contain Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs) on subjects such as General English, General Hindi, General Knowledge, Teaching Aptitude, Reasoning Ability, Educational Psychology.
The Patna University offers a two-year BEd programme for professional teacher training. The university will admit students on the basis of their performance in the entrance exam. The admission process also includes a counselling session and document verification rounds.
The college entrance test will be held on an offline or OMR-based pen-and-paper test for admission to BEd programmes at various Patna University-affiliated colleges.
The university will issue the admit cards for the BEd programmes soon on its official portal. The result will be declared in June or July 2026, followed by the counselling, documents verification and seat allotment rounds.
As per the marking scheme, candidates will be given one mark for each correct answer, and no marks will be deducted for wrong answers.
