NEW DELHI: Once again students are campaigning on social media, appealing to the National Testing Agency (NTA) to postpone NEET 2021. The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG), the single medical entrance exam in India, is scheduled for September 12. But the NEET exam date is very close to a number of other national and state-level entrance tests and board exams. Students are now asking education minister Dharmendra Pradhan to postpone the NEET 2021 exam.

Candidates took to Twitter to a campaign, gathering their posts using the hashtag #PleaseRescheduleNEETUG and #PostponeNEETUG. As per the latest update, NEET correction window facility was available from August 11 and 14, 2021. The period for filling the NEET 2021 application form is over.
There are several state and national-level exams and state boards exams coming very close to the NEET-UG exam. The Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT-CET 2021) will be held in two phases. The first phase is from September 4 to 10 and the second from September 14 to 20. The CoMEDK exam, and entrance exam in Karnataka, is scheduled for September 14, and the Odisha Joint Entrance Exam (OJEE 2021) from September 6 to 18.
The Central Board of Secondary Education will conduct the CBSE Class 12 improvement and compartment exam from August 25 to September 15 and the mathematics exam is scheduled for September 13, the day after NEET exam.
Another national-level exam, the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) UG 2021 will be held on September 7, 8 and 13.
In support of NEET postponement, the Supreme Court advocate, Sumanth Nookala requested NTA to review NEET 2021 schedule based on the representation of applicants.

A student asked the government to postpone NEET-UG by at least 20-25 days as they need time to prepare according to the new pattern.

A user asked why NEET cannot be postponed if JEE Advanced 2021 can be conducted in October.

Neet ug is a very stress ful exam which can't be given in such a rush and in between continuous other exms. It's one& only exam for medical entrance and we can't ruin our future due to govt's rush

As per the brochure, the NEET admit card 2021 will be released three days prior to the examination. NEET hall ticket is expected to be released on September 9, 2021, at neet.nta.nic.in. The admit card along with postcard size photograph and valid ID proof must be carried at the test centre.
