The SIIC under IIT Kanpur, along with SBI Foundation, will oversee the mentoring, funding, and progress of 30 startups over a period of 18 months. The startups are for social impact in agritech, healthcare, and cleantech areas.
The institutes would be set up in Chumoukedima, Phek, Kiphire, Zunheboto, Shamator, Noklak, Longleng, Mokokchung and Dimapur districts, the Nagaland CM Rio said.
The budget for 2025-26 includes provisions to hold such employment fairs and create a common platform for employers and young aspirants, labour and employment minister said.
The signing took place in the presence of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, marking a significant step towards global academic integration, the statement said.
