Pondicherry University MTech admission 2024 through GATE score begins; apply by June 9

Pondicherry University offers seven MTech programmes based on GATE score. Eligible candidates will have to apply through the official website, pondiuni.edu.in.
NEW DELHI: Pondicherry University has started inviting applications for admission to various MTech programmes for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) qualified candidates. The last date to apply for the Pondicherry University MTech admission 2024 through the official website, pondiuni.edu.in, is June 9. A total of seven MTech programmes will be offered based on the GATE score.
The seven MTech programmes offered by the university through GATE score are - MTech in Computer Science and Engineering; MTech in Electronics and Communication Engineering (Intelligent Communication Systems); MTech in Environmental Engineering and Management; MTech in Green Energy Technology; MTech in Nanoscience and Technology; MTech in Network and Information Security; and MTech in Computational Biology.
As per the eligibility criteria, students who have completed their 3-year bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with a minimum 55% in aggregate will be eligible to apply for Pondicherry University MTech admission 2024.

For admission into MTech in Computational Biology, candidates should have obtained a minimum of 55% of marks in master’s degree in bioinformatics, computational biology , physics, chemistry, mathematics, statistics, computer science, all branches in life sciences, or agricultural sciences.
The All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) awards postgraduate (PG) scholarships of Rs 12,400 per month to full-time GATE qualified students, the university said.
Currently, Pondicherry University has twenty one hostels in the campus, of which, thirteen are for boys and eight for girls. Out of the thirteen boys’ hostels, nine are for PG students and four for research scholars. Out of the eight girls’ hostels, seven are for PG students and one is for research scholars, the university informed.
