Pondicherry University PG Admission 2022 through CUET UG 2022; Application process begins

The online application process for Pondicherry University admission 2022 has already begun and applicants can submit their application form till May 6.
NEW DELHI: Pondicherry University has on Thursday announced that admission to all integrated postgraduate (PG) programmes will be based on Central University Common Entrance Test (CUET 2022). As per the new admission policy, the CUET scores are mandatory for undergraduate (UG) admission to 45 central universities. While the National Testing Agency (NTA) will be conducting the exam, the university will have to frame their own eligibility criteria.

The Pondicherry University has decided to take the CUET scores for admission to its PG integrated courses. “It is notified for the information of all concerned that the admission to the Integrated Post Graduate Programmes will be based on Common University Entrance Test CUET (UG) - 2022 to be conducted by National Testing Agency.”
The university offers 10 integrated PG programmes
- Integrated MSc Applied Geology
- Integrated MSc Chemistry
- Integrated MSc Physics
- Integrated MSc Mathematics
- Integrated MSc Computer Science
- Integrated MSc Statistics
- Integrated MA History
- Integrated MA Political Science
- Integrated MA Sociology
- Integrated MA Social and Economic Administration and Law (SEAL)
Candidates who wish to apply for these courses will now have to apply for CUET UG 2022 at cuet.samarth.ac.in.

Pondicherry University PG Admission 2022
The online application process for Pondicherry University admission 2022 has already begun and applicants can submit their application form and fee till May 6, 2022.
“Information regarding, application fee, centre, date, duration, timing, mode and pattern of examination will be available on the official website of the National Testing Agency at: nta.ac.in and cuet.samarth.ac.in,” the university said.
The Pondicherry University Vice Chancellor Gurmeet Singh wrote in the informatioc brochure, “Pondicherry University has been placed among the top 1000 in the QS World University Rankings (WUR), 2022. It is a proud moment for the University as it appears in the top 20 among Indian institutions. It is a significant achievement that Pondicherry University has been placed between 301 and 350 in the QS Asia Rankings in the last four years and between 211 and 220 positions among Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa (BRICS) Universities.”
