“Postpone NEET PG on immediate basis” - Delhi Abhibhavak Sangh

Head of Delhi Abhibhavak Sangh, Harish Mehra in a letter to the Health Minister appealed to postpone NEET PG 2021 immediately. Mehra in his letter put forward the thoughts of the NEET PG aspirants. The letter cited four reasons for Postpone NEET PG 2021,

  1. It is difficult for candidates to serve their COVID duty in hospitals and then appear for the NEET PG 2021 exam the following day

  2. A significant number of candidates have contracted COVID-19 infection while performing their medical duties. Thus, they will not be able to appear for NEET PG.

  3. Lockdown and restrictions have been imposed by states across the country. Thus, candidates will face difficulty in reaching the NEET PG 2021 exam centre.

  4. Delhi alone in the last 24 hours have recorded 17,000 COVID-19 cases and 100 deaths. Conducting an exam in such conditions is a risk to the life of NEET PG 2021 test takers.
