NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurates new Vidya Samiksha Kendra (VSK) in Maharashtra marking an important step toward improving education in India, October 9. The new centre aims to follow the success of the first VSK he launched in Gujarat two years ago, an official statement said. The initiative reflects the Prime Minister’s vision to expand the model to more states and union territories, the official statement said.

The data generated will help local districts and blocks to make informed decisions to improve education governance and outcomes across the country. “With the opening of VSK in Pune there are now 30 VSKs operating nationwide. The centres will utilise technology, AI to track administrative, and academic performance,” adds the official notice.

VSK also offers real-time feedback that supports ongoing improvements in the education system.
