PUBDET 2024 answer key challenge facility ends today; result date expected soon

NEW DELHI: The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) will close the Presidency University Bachelor Degree Entrance Test (PUBDET)2024 answer key challenge window today, July 22. Candidates who appeared in the PUBDET 2024 entrance exams will be able to raise objections against the answer key by visiting the official website, wbjeeb.nic.in.
Candidates must use their login credentials, including the application number and password, to log in and challenge the PUBDET 2024 answer key. During the answer key challenge process, candidates are required to upload supporting documents and pay a processing fee of Rs 500 per question challenge.
As per the PUBDET marking scheme, candidates will be awarded 2 marks for every correct answer. For every wrong answer, 0.5 mark will be deducted. If a candidate does not mark an answer for a question, zero marks will be given for that response.
The board will soon announce the PUBDET 2024 result date on the official website. Along with the results, the board will also issue the PUBDET 2024 scorecards. After the PUBDET results are declared, the officials will start the counselling process for seat allocation based on the order of merit.

PUBDET 2024: Tie-breaking methodology

Candidates with fewer negative marks will be ranked higher and will secure a higher position on the merit list.

If the tie persists, all such candidates will be awarded the same rank and will be considered for counselling and admission collectively.
The PUBDET 2024 exam was held on July 6, 7 to shortlist candidates for admission to the Bachelor of Arts (BA) and Bachelor of Science (BSc) programmes at Presidency University, Kolkata. Following the PUBDET results, the officials will begin the counselling process for seat allocation in the order of merit.
