PUBDET 2025 result to be declared on August 9; scorecard on wbjeeb.nic.in

PUBDET Result 2025: Candidates will have to use their application number and password to download the scorecard. The social category update window is open till August 5.
The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) will announce the Presidency University Bachelor's Degree Entrance Test (PUBDET) 2025 result on August 9. As per the official notification, the result will be published after incorporating the responses related to social category claims.
“This is for information to all concerned that after incorporation of the social category responses, the result of PUBDET-2025 is scheduled to be declared on 9th August, 2025,” the official notice said.
Candidates who appeared for PUBDET 2025 will be able to check their results through the official websites at wbjeeb.nic.in. Alternatively, they can also access the PUBDET 2025 result at wbjeeb.in. Candidates will have to use their application number and password to download the scorecard.
The PUBDET is conducted by the WBJEEB for admission to four-year Bachelor of Arts (BA) (Honours) and Bachelor of Science (BSc) (Honours) programmes at Presidency University for the academic session 2025–26. The board has completed the PUBDET response sheet and answer key challenge process.
Social category update window open till August 5
Recently, in compliance with the Supreme Court’s order dated July 28, 2025, in SLP(C) No. 17422 of 2025 (State of West Bengal v Purabi Das & Ors.) and related matters, WBJEEB has allowed all PUBDET 2025 candidates to update their social category details .
The category update window is open and will remain open till tomorrow, August 5, 2025. The facility is available through a dedicated link on the Board’s official websites. As per the board, this opportunity precedes the publication of results and document verification. Final verification of social category details will be conducted by Presidency University at the time of admission.
