PUMDET Counselling 2024: Round 2 seat allotment result today; refund withdrawal rule
PUMDET Admission 2024: Candidates will have to pay the seat acceptance fee of Rs 1,000 by September 11.

NEW DELHI: The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) will announce the round 2 seat allotment result for the Presidency University Master Degree Entrance Test (PUMDET) 2024 counselling today, September 9. Candidates who did not secure any seat in round 1 counselling or choose for seat upgradation can check the PUMDET seat allotment result through the official website, wbjeeb.nic.in.
Candidates will have to use their login credentials such as registration number and password to download the PUMDET round 2 seat allotment letter. Candidates who will be allotted a seat after meeting the eligibility criteria and securing a rank in PUMDET 2024 will need to pay a seat acceptance fee of Rs 1,000.
Candidates who are newly allotted a seat must pay the seat acceptance fee and then report to the allotted institute for document verification and admission. As per the schedule, the last date to pay the seat acceptance fee, document verification or withdraw their names from counselling by September 11. Document verification by the University can result in the following outcomes:

The current allotment may be cancelled if the candidate is found ineligible based on their academic scores or category certificates.

If the verification is successful and the candidate has been allotted their first choice, they must complete the admission process. Failure to do so will be considered as a lack of interest, and the candidate will be barred from future seat allotments.

PUMDET Counselling 2024: Refunds and withdrawals
Candidates should check the refunds and withdrawal rules for the PUMDET counselling 2024 given below.

The seat acceptance fee for all admitted candidates will be transferred to the University after the completion of all e-counselling rounds. If a candidate decides not to join or continue, they must request cancellation and a refund from the University.

Candidates holding a seat who wish to withdraw can do so only during the seat acceptance period of round 2. They will receive a full refund from WBJEEB through online banking within 60-90 days after the counselling ends.

If a candidate pays the seat acceptance fee but neither completes the admission nor withdraws, they may still be eligible for a refund according to the refund rules posted on the Board’s website. This refund will be processed by WBJEEB in line with current regulations.
